We provide an extensive database of vehicles, which is continually added to and comprises all models and eras, from vintage, classic and modern cars to motorcycles, trucks, military, emergency, American and custom cars, even buses, coaches and commercial vehicles. If we do not have what you are looking for, we will endeavour to locate it through our many contacts. We provide full vehicle support and trained drivers on location. If necessary, one-to-one driving tuition for actors/doubles can also be arranged. All our drivers are familiar with the handling and controls of the vehicles, particularly vintage cars, and possess a good knowledge of mechanics should this be needed. Drivers will ensure vehicles are cleaned and positioned for filming according to the Director's requirements. Transport costs are minimised by utilising the services of a regular, trusted and reliable transport agency. All vehicles provided by AK Vintage Vehicles are mechnically sound, M.O.T.d. and fully insured, however, we advise that accidental damage insurance whilst on location and during filming should be arranged by the Production Company. A few notes... All vehicles carry a "Vehicle Condition Report", agreed by the Production Company and AK Vintage Vehicles, before and after shooting. Costs for repairs or for spare parts incurred through damage or loss suffered by the vehicle whilst on location and/or during filming, shall be quoted for and passed on to the Production Company. No alterations or modifications of any kind are allowed on the vehicles, unless permission is sought prior to filming and granted in writing. Only a written confirmation from AK Vintage Vehicles will confirm tariffs.
